00:00There is a stated view within the Labour Party that Brexit has certainly not been a success,

00:09and indeed this has been a spectacular failure.

00:12But of course, what Labour have been very, very emphatic about is that they're not going

00:18to try and reverse it.

00:20There's no sense it's going to be a referendum.

00:23But I think what they will do then is to work, if you like, at the edges.

00:26So I think in the sense that what we'll see certainly over this period, I'm talking about

00:31the next parliament, is working on technical agreements, which of course the trade deal

00:38that Boris Johnson negotiated as part of the oven-ready deal, it was pretty lopsided.

00:45It gave Europe everything they wanted and very little of what Britain wants.

00:50Perhaps in the fullness of time, we may eventually get another referendum when the time is right.

00:55But hey, there are many people who do not agree with that view.
