Orchestra street performance pulls crowd at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Istana Budaya on Saturday (July 13) night, organised an event called, “Sounds of Malaysia” on the bustling street of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.   Musicians and a dance crew from Orkestra Tradisional Malaysia (OTM) performed using different types of traditional musical instruments. 01:04We can see that there will be a lot of tourists coming to Pavilion Bukit Bintang

01:10So we will play a lot of songs so that they know about the culture in our own country

01:18So this is the program that we will bring in the future to promote the year of Melawat Malaysia in 2026

01:40We have to play songs that people know, like Ah Sokar just now, right?

01:47Like Aba Ben, right?

01:50Songs like that, Arabic songs, where we have Arab tourists here

01:55And songs from the Chinese people, so that everyone can enjoy the OTM performance

02:04You won't believe it, we only did it for 3 days, 1 day of rehearsal
