New York Times Editorial Board Slams Trump as 'Unfit to Lead,' Says He Is Motivated by a 'Thirst for Political Power'

The New York Times editorial board published an opinion piece calling Donald Trump "unfit to lead" and urging voters to reject his reelection bid. The board argued that Trump lacks respect for the Constitution, the rule of law, and the American people. Instead of a vision for the country, the board said Trump is motivated by a "thirst for political power" to advance his interests and exact retribution.  Last month, the board urged Joe Biden not to run in 2024 due to concerns about his age and performance in a debate. Some Democratic lawmakers have publicly called on Biden not to run for reelection in 2024.
