00:00A long day for you, but a good one, into the semi-finals of Wimbledon, give us your thoughts.
00:09Yeah, a long day, a very tough match against Jelena.
00:14I'm extremely happy that I got the win today, that I'm in the semi-finals.
00:20I think it's a great, great achievement.
00:25Hi, Bora. I'm from Quality Shots. Congratulations on the win.
00:28This is your best performance at a slam since your French Open win, of course.
00:32How good does it feel to be finally getting back to your level?
00:35It feels great. I'm really happy about it.
00:39I'm very honoured that I can be here.
00:44And I'm super happy about the performance that I'm showing on the court.
00:52Congratulations, firstly.
00:55You mentioned on court it's been a tough year and you even thought about giving up at some points.
01:00Can you talk about your mindset and how you stayed positive through this year?
01:05It was super difficult. It was very up and down, especially with all the illnesses that I had, especially this year.
01:14I felt like I started well, especially in Australia where I did quarters.
01:20I was on a good roll and then out of nowhere my body said differently.
01:29I'm extremely proud that I never gave up and that I'm here.
01:36And that I have the energy and the power to overcome this and to fight again and to play good tennis.
01:50How would you describe Rabak and I as a player?
01:56We played a couple of times.
02:03She's a great player. She's a former champion here.
02:10She knows the court. She knows how to play on grass.
02:15She's very dangerous. She has a lot of weapons.
02:20I'm super happy that I'm in the semis and that I can face her.
02:26What do you consider to be the biggest challenge in her game?
02:41Overall, she's just playing. She's a good player. She knows how to play everything.
02:47As I said, she has big weapons. On the other hand, I do have big weapons as well.
02:54I expect that it's going to be a big fight.
03:02What is making you feel best about your game right now?
03:06What are you doing that you think is contributing most to your success?
03:12Just the preparation in general.
03:16I have a very good atmosphere here. I have a very nice family that I'm staying with.
03:22They are a big key for me to be very relaxed.
03:32I also have a really good team that is around me that is helping me with everyday stuff
03:39and also with being relaxed and enjoying the moment.
03:43On the court, what do you think it is that you're doing that has been so successful?
03:48Just playing tennis.
03:56I just wanted to ask, the head-to-head between you and Rebecca is 2-0 in favor of yourself,
04:00so she's never beaten you.
04:02What do you think you do so well or did so well against her in the previous two matches?
04:08I don't remember those matches. I don't know.
04:12I would have to look at them because I think it's definitely some time ago.
04:17I know that the last time I played was in Ostrava.
04:23It was a very tight match. It was very up and down.
04:27From what I remember, I was down most of the time.
04:31Somehow, I was able to turn around the match and win it at the end.
04:37It was definitely a huge match for me.
04:44I'm expecting another huge match in the semifinals.
04:52Have you surprised yourself at all in this tournament?
04:56Definitely, yes.
04:59What's surprising to you?
05:02That I'm in the semifinals.
05:15I didn't have a really good season in between Australia and now.
05:19I was out and I was ill and injured and this and that.
05:25Always coming back and then getting ill again and then coming back and getting ill.
05:32Going through very tough and difficult moments.
05:42Before Wimbledon, I only won two matches.
05:47I didn't really expect to get this far.
05:51I'm really proud of myself for getting this far.
