00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you.
00:20As we continue our journey of faith and hope and love, we open ourselves to the love of God
00:27that calls us away from fear and confusion into love. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. Christ
00:35have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us,
00:42forgive us our sins, and lead us into healing and life everlasting. Amen. Let us pray.
00:49O God, who in the abasement of your Son have raised up a fallen world,
00:55fill your faithful with holy joy. For to those you have rescued from slavery to sin,
01:00you bestow eternal gladness. To our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you
01:07in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
01:12A reading from the Prophet Messiah.
01:22Israel was a luxury in wine, yielding plenty of fruit. The more his fruit increased,
01:30the more altars he built. The richer his land became, the richer he made the sacred stones.
01:39The heart is a divided heart. Very well, they must pay for it. The Lord is going to break their
01:46altars down and destroy the sacred stones. Then they will say, we have no king because we have
01:56not feared the Lord. But what can a king do for us? Samaria has had her king. Her king
02:08is like a straw drifting on the water. The altars high places shall be destroyed,
02:16the sin of Israel. Throne and the crystal will grow on their altars.
02:23Then they will say to the mountains, cover us, and to the hills, fall on us.
02:29So, integrity for yourself, reap a harvest of kindness, break up your fallow ground.
02:38It is time to seek in the Lord, until he comes to reign salvation on earth.
02:47The word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.
02:51Seek always the face of the Lord. Seek always the face of the Lord.
02:56Seek always the face of the Lord.
02:57O, sing to the Lord, sing his praise. Tell all his wonderful words. Be proud of his holy name.
03:05Let the heart that seeks the Lord rejoice. Seek always the face of the Lord.
03:12Consider the Lord and his strength. Constantly seek his face. Remember the wonders he has done,
03:19his miracles, the judgments he spoke. Seek always the face of the Lord.
03:24The children of Abraham, his servant, the sons of Jacob, he chose. He, the Lord, is our God.
03:32His judgments prevail in all the earth. Seek always the face of the Lord.
03:38Alleluia, alleluia. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news. Alleluia.
03:46The Lord be with you. And with your spirit.
03:56A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew. Glory to you, O Lord.
04:04Jesus summoned the twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits
04:10with power to cast them out and to cure all kinds of diseases and sicknesses.
04:17These are the names of the twelve apostles. First, Simon, who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew.
04:26James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. Philip and Bartholomew. Thomas and Matthew,
04:35the tax collector. James, the son of Alphaeus, and Taddeus. Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot,
04:45the one who was to betray him. These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing them as follows.
04:54Do not turn your steps to pagan territory and do not enter any Samaritan town.
05:01Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
05:05And as you go, proclaim that the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.
05:15The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
05:26You call to conversion in the first reading, reminding us that externals are not what is
05:35most important, but the heart, an undivided heart. The heart says yes to God.
05:44Jesus chose the twelve apostles for his mission, a mission that evolved and grew,
05:52and we share in that mission, a mission of healing and proclaiming the kingdom of God,
05:58a kingdom of justice, peace, and love. And we are called to the sacraments
06:04of that peace and love by who we are.
06:16Blessed are you Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this bread to
06:20offer, which earth has given, human hands have made. It will become for us the bread of life.
06:28Amen.
06:48Blessed are you Lord God of all creation, for through your goodness we have this wine to offer,
06:53fruit of divine work of human hands. It will become our spiritual drink.
07:08Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours
07:11may be acceptable to God our Almighty Father.
07:15May this oblation dedicated to your name purify us, O Lord,
07:26and day by day bring our conduct closer to the life of heaven. Through Christ our Lord.
07:36The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:44It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you
07:50thanks. Lord, Holy Father, Almighty and Eternal God, through Christ our Lord. His death we
07:57celebrate in love, his resurrection we confess with living faith, and his coming in glory we
08:04await with unwavering hope. And so with all the angels and saints we praise you and without end
08:11we acclaim. Holy, holy, holy Lord God of us, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna
08:20in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
08:27You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts,
08:32we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like you do for us, that they may become for us
08:39the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly
08:46into his passion into the bread and giving thanks broke it and gave it to his disciples saying,
08:52take this all of you and eat of it for this is my body which will be given up for you.
09:00In a similar way, when supper was ended he took the chalice and once more giving thanks he gave
09:06it to his disciples saying, take this all of you and drink from it for this is the chalice of my
09:12blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant which will be poured out for you and for many
09:21for the forgiveness of your sins. Hosanna in the highest.
09:30In the mystery of faith, save us, Savior of the world, for by your cross and resurrection
09:49you have set us free. Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
09:56we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation, giving thanks that you've
10:01held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you. Humbly we pray that partaking of the body
10:09and blood of Christ we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, your church
10:15spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Francis our
10:20Pope, me your unworthy servant, Eugene our emeritus bishop, all the clergy who serve your people
10:27and the entire people your son has gained for you. Remember also our brothers and sisters who have
10:34fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection and all who have died in your mercy, welcome
10:42them into the light of your face. Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the blessed Virgin Mary,
10:49Mother of God, Blessed Joseph, as far as with the blessed apostles and all the saints who have
10:54pleased you throughout the ages, we may through your grace merit to be coerced to eternal life
11:00and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:09Through him and with him and in him, O God, Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
11:15all glory and honor is yours forever and ever. Amen.
11:22At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say,
11:27Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth
11:35as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
11:43as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from
11:50evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil. Graciously grant peace in our days that by the
11:57help of your mercy we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress as we await the
12:03blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
12:12Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your apostles, peace I leave you, my peace I give you,
12:17look not on our sins but on the faith of your church and graciously grant her peace and unity
12:23in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever. Amen. The peace of our Lord
12:29Jesus Christ be with you always. Let's offer each other a sign of peace. Peace to you all.
12:38Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God,
12:43you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Lamb of God,
12:48you take away the sins of the world, grant us peace.
12:51Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to the
13:01supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof but only say the word
13:08and my soul shall be healed. My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
13:15I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul.
13:20Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you
13:27as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated
13:34from you. Amen. Let us pray.
13:38Grant, we pray, O Lord, that having been replenished by such great gifts we may gain
13:50the prize of salvation and never cease to praise you through Christ our Lord. Amen.
13:55The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and
14:00of the Son and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you. Amen.
14:04Let us go and live the gospel. Thanks be to God. God bless your day.
