Wigan CEO believes the Las Vegas game is a great opportunity for rugby.

00:00You mentioned on the stage that you took inspiration from watching it earlier this year and you said to yourself,

00:06I want to be a part of this.

00:08Yeah, pretty much like every other Super League fan, we were probably sat at home on the morning and watched the game

00:15and it looked and felt different, it felt big and I just reached out to my owners and said,

00:23how do you feel about being a part of this?

00:25And I got a unanimous response that said, yeah, these are the events we want to take part in.

00:31I then sent an email to Peter Blandies at the NRL and I explained that we're an ambitious club

00:40and that we'd love to be part of this event and within 24 hours I got a really favourable response

00:46and I've been working with the executive team at the NRL for the last three or four months

00:51to work through a hell of a lot of logistics and finances to pull this off but it's certainly been worth it.

00:59It's a great opportunity for the club and for Super League.
