What's your hopes now that Victoria's right and now that Labour's come along?
00:17
Your son raised 14 years before I wrote, how are you going to survive that?
00:30
But then again, they all are. That's the thing.
00:41
What are your hopes now that Victoria's right and now that Labour's come along?
00:47
What are your hopes now that Labour's come along?
00:49
Well, I hope, I think they're going to be better than the, what do you call them, Conservatives anyway.
00:55
And after 14 years before I wrote, how do you summarise their time in office?
01:04
What are you hoping to get addressed now with the Labour Parliament?
01:11
Do you think it's a shift of Irish unity?
01:19
Can you tell me what your hopes are now that the Labour Party is on in Victoria?
01:40
If you were to summarise Victoria's 14 year rule, what would you say about it?
01:45
Well, the Tories were in power for 14 years, how did you think they would grow?
01:50
Am I allowed to curse on them?
01:54
Well, a whole mess up I can say is a whole lot of time across the board.
01:59
Covid doesn't help either, but I mean, they must be glad they get something fresh now,
02:04
get some news going on that's fresh, see what they can do.
02:07
I feel sorry about people in England, I tell you what to do.
02:12
With the new government in charge, what are you looking to address and change here and overall?
02:19
Well, improve everything, especially NHS.
02:21
They have to do something about that, that's unbelievable.
02:24
Doctors appointments is unbelievable.
02:26
You're on the phone every morning trying to get a hundred times, trying to get a study of doctors.
02:32
It's not right, you know what I mean?
02:34
People's just letting it go, you know?
02:36
People's just letting it go, I'll try it tomorrow, I'll try it tomorrow.
02:39
But people's getting old, you know what I mean?
02:41
I need to address this big time, that's the main thing for me, you know what I mean?
02:44
Trying to get an appointment with a doctor is unbelievable.
02:48
I hope they address it, you know what I mean?
02:50
Last question, week here, storm in charge, do you think the possibility of Irish unity is there?
02:56
I hope so.
02:57
No, I hope it's ahead of us, you know what I mean?
02:59
I hope it's not too far away.
03:01
I think it's just around the corner, you know what I mean?
03:03
They tell you everything's going here, the DUP and that, you know what I mean?
03:06
So, I really do think it's not too far away.
03:10
We're hoping, aren't we?
03:11
Right, so, how's the weather at the fire?
03:14
What we can hope to see, what's there now to pick up on?
03:18
I would hope we can use NHS, because that's the main thing, we need all that there.
03:22
And we need that access put, which we probably not going to be doing.
03:26
We need all that stuff.
03:28
And a better place, because we've got a bit over here.
03:32
After the 14 years before you left, how would you summarise your time at the fire?
03:38
It wasn't great, was it? I don't think it was good.
03:41
They were too much fighting among themselves as they were running the country.
03:46
And the last gas year he wasn't even elected, you know, he was just stuck on there.
03:50
I didn't like him.
03:52
Now are we at a Labour and Party time?
03:54
Is it possible that United Ireland is there?
03:59
I don't know.
04:01
Maybe, just a maybe.
04:03
It's not a no, but it's a maybe.
04:07
So, the Tories lie out of government and Labour.
04:10
What are you hoping to see out of the Labour government?
04:13
Just an improvement for the actual people.
04:15
You know, I want housing to get better, I want the renting crisis to get better,
04:18
I want the bills to get better, I want the taxing to get better.
04:21
But it doesn't look like any government's out for the people these days at all.
04:24
Definitely.
04:26
If you were to summarise the 14 years of role that the Tories had, how would you summarise it?
04:31
If I could, please.
04:33
Without using any vulgarities, I would definitely say terrible.
04:38
I mean, look at the way they handled the Covid crisis.
04:40
It was obviously unforeseen times, but at the same time,
04:44
a little bit of thought going into everything would have made things a lot easier.
04:48
And we've been in a banking crisis for the past, god, 20 years maybe?
04:51
So, a bit more thought would be good, wouldn't it?
