00:00Paul, 4-0 pre-season win against QPR 11 today, happy with that?
00:06Yeah it was a good performance, good day all round really, good crowd and they got season goals.
00:12Yeah 12 under crowd for a pre-season friendly, I mean that's just great for the club really that isn't it?
00:16Yeah it was pretty impressive you could say, yeah well done for QPR for coming down and playing us, yeah we enjoyed it.
00:24Obviously early in pre-season but do you feel you're starting to build partnerships and get things going or is it a bit early still?
00:30Yeah it's still a bit early, we've only been back this week, we come back in Tuesday so a bit early but yeah I think the boys have hit the ground running.
00:37You can see it straight away, everyone's buzzing to try and get in the team and prove a point and yeah we didn't carry anyone today, even the youth team boys done really well.
00:46Yeah obviously plenty of subs and some youth boys getting on and obviously great for them and plenty of minutes all round really.
00:54Yeah good day, no injuries and like I say everyone's got some good goals and yeah it's one to enjoy today.
01:01Obviously you managed to get quite a lot of business done early this summer, obviously very happy with what you've done and how the squad's looking at the moment?
01:09Yeah we got it done early like we did last year, again we're a small squad, we're K16, first teamers and we top them up with the youth boys.
01:18But yeah I'm happy with what we've got, we may add one or two but we're not looking.
01:24A good competition already, good areas of pitch, you've got good options now, is it all over again like last year?
01:31Yeah well a couple of the boys that we brought in, obviously Joel and Jonathan have played numerous positions so yeah that helps with what we want to do.
01:39But yeah we're happy.
01:41Obviously dad's injured at the end of last season but he's obviously hit pre-season running for Tuesday and today.
01:48Yeah he's great to have him back, he's like another new signing as well, we've missed him so much last year.
01:54Yeah he just brings the buzz around the ground and with the boys as well.
01:58I think the new boys saw him on Tuesday, didn't really know of him too much but then when they saw him play, there's a real buzz straight away.
02:07So he tucks away the first one and then Shea wins the penalty for the second and quickly tucks it away neatly and then 2-0 at half-time, just happy at half-time?
02:17Yeah I thought Shea was excellent today, his movement and his desire to get in the box and to win it, I thought he was a real positive today.
02:26Does a little flip for his goals, tidy little finish and quickly back on penalties and a little hop-skip jump.
02:33And yeah put it away for 2-0.
02:35Yeah and obviously Shea banged them in last year, we got Dwight in as well and he comes on at half-time and shows what he's all about.
02:41We know him, we changed it, them two come on and they're real lively them two.
02:46They both had chances and Dwight is off the marks, that'd be a relief for him.
02:50And yeah we move.
02:52Yeah and then Joe, nice 1-2 and nice finish just to wrap it all up.
02:55Yeah he's excellent, Joe's come back in tremendous shape.
02:58He's ready for the season to start now and he capped off most of the amount of match performance today with a well taken goal.
03:06And how's this week looking training-wise?
03:09Yeah we win twice this week, so two good training sessions and then we look forward to Red Devon next week.
03:15Hopefully it puts us in a better place.
03:18Yeah and obviously cup draws yesterday, which again just whets the appetite a bit for winning.
03:22Yeah good draws at home, two tough teams so we're concentrating on them a bit later on in the month.
03:30At the moment we're just concentrating on getting ready for the season.
