00:00The VJ War, the war in the East, was known as the Forgotten War. The returning soldiers,
00:13those that survived, and those that were in prison camps, etc, were actually told by the
00:19government that they were not to talk about their experiences. Because of the trauma the
00:25country had suffered, the people of this country had suffered for the previous five years,
00:31the government didn't want them upset anymore. But those people came back with terrible trauma,
00:38severe mental health problems, and it's so important that we remember not only those
00:44that died, but those that returned and were forgotten, and not given the help that they
00:50no doubt, we now know they need.
