00:00When COVID hit in 2019 that was when I wanted a career change because my

00:04industry was not going so well. I knew I should be a cop when I was driving with

00:09my mum and dad. There was these two men fighting and these two female police

00:14officers jumped in and broke up the fight and I thought that itself was

00:18pretty cool and I thought yeah I could definitely do that job. Just the fact I

00:22can help someone different every day is a thing that I've always wanted to do.

00:27I was placed in Dubbo from the Police Academy. The great thing about the police

00:30you can work anywhere in the state. Some people are apprehensive about getting a

00:34country placement. For me it was the best lifestyle change. The transition was a

00:40big one for me. I grew up on the water so for me coming to a country town was a

00:46bit of a change. What I love most about the country lifestyle is the people out

00:50here. They're very friendly, welcoming. You should be a cop if you want a

00:55lifestyle change and if you want to make a difference in someone's life.
