00:07Emergency services were alerted at 10am on April 18th, 2026 that the divers failed to
00:13return to the boat at the expected time, 9.15am.
00:17The divers were located 7am the next morning, about 14 nautical miles south of their initial
00:23location.
00:33An aircraft jet deployed a life raft to the 45-year-old Victoria Point man and 43-year-old
00:40Rabina man.
00:41Water Police assisted the men before they were airlifted by the surf life-saving helicopter.
00:46They were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition and returned
00:51home safe and well.
