Coalition calls truce amid bickering over MP's sacking

NSW Opposition Leader Mark Speakman labelled MP Wes Fang's behaviour as 'unacceptable', after Fang publicly accused Speakman of 'pretending' to care about his region. Fang has been stripped of his shadow portfolio as a result. Video via AAP.

00:00This is a case of me making it very clear that I require the highest standards of behaviour

00:07and I will not tolerate bad behaviour from any Liberal or National MP.

00:10His behaviour was unacceptable, I've made that very clear.

00:13It's intolerable for someone to keep a position as Shadow Assistant Minister and behave that way

00:17and that's why he was sacked.

00:18I've had discussions with Liberal soldiers and this matter has been resolved

00:22and I think going forward we will be a strong and united team taking up the fight.
