00:20and a 30% chance of normal temperatures this summer.

00:24The Mediterranean coast in particular has a 70% probability

00:28of experiencing higher than average temperatures,

00:31with south-eastern France facing potential drought conditions.

00:35We move on now to Spain, which is expected to have a hotter and drier summer than usual,

00:40according to AMET, the National Meteorological Agency.

00:44There is a 70% to 100% probability that the summer will be warmer than normal

00:49and it's highly likely to be one of the hottest on record.

00:53They note that the Copernicus forecast predicts less rainfall than usual,

00:57which could exacerbate the heat in those parts.
