00:22I'm from LA, and an agent came up to my parents and asked if I'd want to come have a meeting.
00:29I started going on commercial auditions, and that was the beginning of me being in
00:34the entertainment business, because both of my parents,
00:36neither of them are in the entertainment business at all.

01:02And in one of the films, she starts to like boys for the first time, and she has her first crush.
01:06And just playing the character kind of brings me back to being little.
01:09And it's funny because when I started voicing the character, I was little, and now I'm an adult.

01:19It was such a fun experience getting to be in that music video because I love animals so much,

01:34I do sing the iCarly theme song.
01:36I recorded it when I was 12, and it was my first time ever recording a song in my whole life,
01:41or getting to be in a studio and sing, and it was really fun.

01:50I'm a little bit of an introvert.
01:53I have a bunch of girlfriends, three friends that are my closest friends that I've known
01:58since I was pretty little, and they definitely bring out a more crazy,
02:02fun side of me just because I've known them for so long.
02:04But I would say I think that's the thing that surprises people about me,
02:07that I'm probably more shy than people realize.

02:14I eat everything.
02:15There isn't a single solitary thing I don't eat except for peanut butter.
02:18I'm allergic to peanut butter.
02:19I used to eat it, but I became allergic to it when I was 14 or 15,
02:23and I was super bummed.
02:24I love peanut butter.
02:25But other than that, I eat absolutely everything.

02:45School of Rock was one of the first things I ever did in acting,
02:49and I was nine.
02:51And I got to go to New York, which was so much fun.
02:53I had only been on a plane one other time in my life before I went to film this movie.
02:57And I got to stay in Manhattan for five months in a hotel and order room service
03:02and hang out with all the other kids in the movie.
03:04And it was still, to this day, one of the most fun things I've ever done in acting.

03:11I wouldn't say I have an insane vocal range at all.
03:14I do like singing, and I play guitar.
03:17I actually learned to play guitar because of School of Rock,
03:19because all the other kids played instruments in the movie.

03:27I just got a new car, a Range Rover, and it's really nice.

04:15It's on CBS in the morning, and it's all about women in STEM.
04:18And it's taught me so much about science,
04:20and I've fallen in love with science from getting to host this show.
04:23Because to be honest, when I was in school, I was not great with science.
04:27I wasn't super into it.
04:28And now this show's made me really love it.
04:31I learned recently a little bit about sleep paralysis,
04:33and that interested me a lot, just because I've experienced sleep paralysis.
04:37So learning about it made me a little less scared of it.
04:40The main thing they say is just to get really,
04:42have a good sleeping pattern and go to sleep at the same time every night.
04:44But I don't do that at all.
04:46So I'm probably still going to have sleep paralysis my whole life.

04:53When I was little and I was in School of Rock,
04:55I learned what this meant when I was making that movie,
04:57and I thought it was so cool.
04:58And I kept doing it in every single picture.

05:06There's one of me where I'm at the Kids' Choice Awards when I'm maybe nine.
05:11I have my hands in my pockets and my head back.
05:13And somebody made a meme out of it that says,

05:46For an episode of iCarly and the revival of iCarly, I love Kacey Musgraves.
05:50And we did a storyline where we get Kacey Musgraves tattoos.
05:55And I got one on my foot.
05:57So that was interesting.
05:59It was a temporary tattoo.
06:00But I had it on my foot for four or five days.
06:03It was just Kacey Musgraves' face.
06:04It was kind of random.
06:06Does Miranda Cosgrove have TikTok?
06:08So I have a secret TikTok where I make TikToks for fun sometimes.
06:11But I just never post them publicly.
06:14And I also use it just to look at TikTok and other people's videos.
06:16But I don't have a real one yet.
06:19I thought it was pretty funny when I went viral for saying the F word on TikTok.
06:25Because I was just on my friend Whitney's podcast.
06:28And that was the last thing I thought people were going to
06:30care about or notice from that podcast.
06:32It's just crazy.

06:38So Nathan Kress is married and he has three children.
06:40But I like him a lot.
06:42I've known him since I was a little kid.
06:44He was one of my first kisses in real life.
06:48He's just always been a really good guy.
