00:00In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
00:13Peace be upon you, dear students and viewers.
00:15As you know, we have started a new standard level of logarithms.
00:20The books from which I am teaching you are from FBISC, Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
00:31This is chapter number 3.
00:33You can learn this core concept and apply it on any of the board's books.
00:39If you have any questions or queries regarding this subject,
00:43you can ask me in the comment section or in my mail.
00:49I will make a video on it for you.
00:51I will give you the link of all the videos I have made in the i button.
00:58You can go and watch it.
01:00The exercise we will start today is 3.3.
01:06In this video, we will solve the first question of exercise 3.3.
01:17We will solve the rest of the questions in the coming videos.
01:20The first question is,
01:22Can I write the following into sum or differences?
01:25Sum or differences means,
01:28Either we will have a large number of products or we will have a large number of quotients.
01:34We have studied all the laws of logarithm.
01:38We have studied the rules of logarithm, product rule, quotient rule, power rule, etc.
01:46This is the first one.
01:48Log A cross B.
01:50As mentioned earlier, if the base 10 is not mentioned with log, then it is understood by convention that this is log 10.
01:59This is also called common logarithm.
02:01What is the solution for this?
02:03According to the product law of logarithm, multiplying numbers turns into positive.
02:08So, log A cross B is A into B is equal to log A plus log B.
02:14This is our answer.
