00:29Have you ever fallen over and hurt yourself?
00:38I bet you have.
00:40And then have you wished that someone would come along and give you a hug and make you
00:44feel better?
00:45Well, Little Miss Hug is just that person.
00:49Like the time she found Little Miss Tiny after she had fallen off the curb.
00:57But there is something else extra special about Little Miss Hug's hugs.
01:02It is her extra special arms.
01:05They fit perfectly around whoever she is hugging.
01:09Whether it is Mr. Small after a twig fell on him and squashed his hat.
01:17Or Mr. Bump after one of his bumps.
01:24Or even Mr. Greedy when he has a tummy ache.
01:28Little Miss Hug is always there with a perfectly fitting hug to make everything better.
01:38Then there are the times when nobody has hurt themselves.
01:41Happy times like birthdays.
01:44Everyone wants a birthday hug.
01:50And times when she hugs just for the fun of it.
01:53Even the likes of Little Miss Bossy need a hug once in a while.
02:01So everyone needs a hug.
02:03Or so Little Miss Hug thought.
02:05The other day when she was out for a walk, she heard someone hidden on the other side
02:10of a hedge.
02:12Someone huffing and puffing and moaning and groaning.
02:16Someone who is in a very bad temper.
02:22Mr. Grumpy.
02:24And why was Mr. Grumpy in such a bad mood?
02:27Because the sun was out.
02:29There really is no pleasing Mr. Grumpy.
02:35Quick as a flash, Little Miss Hug ran around the hedge, stretched out her arms and hugged
02:41Mr. Grumpy.
02:42Or at least she tried to.
02:44But something happened that had never happened to Little Miss Hug before.
02:49Mr. Grumpy pushed her away.
02:51Get off me, shouted Mr. Grumpy.
02:58Little Miss Hug could not believe her ears.
03:01She could not believe her eyes.
03:04Nobody had ever refused one of her hugs.
03:07But, but, everyone likes a hug, she cried.
03:14She was so confused, she hugged Mr. Grumpy again.
03:19I know what you are trying to do, said Mr. Grumpy, but it won't work.
03:24I am grumpy and I like being grumpy and no amount of hugging will change that.
03:29Little Miss Hug didn't let go.
03:35I said, began Mr. Grumpy, but then he stopped.
03:41Something was happening to Mr. Grumpy that had never happened to him before.
03:46He could feel a strange warm feeling spreading out from deep inside him.
03:51Little Miss Hug hugged him tighter.
03:57And then the most extraordinary thing happened.
04:01Very slowly, Mr. Grumpy smiled.
04:05For the first time in his life, he was happy.
04:09Little Miss Hug let go of him.
04:11I must say, said Little Miss Hug, you have a lovely smile.
04:16And can you guess what Mr. Grumpy did next?
04:23He blushed.
04:24For the first time in his life, he blushed.
04:31And then he hugged Little Miss Hug.
04:34For the first time in his life, he hugged someone.
04:38Although, as you can see, it was almost a hug, not a proper Little Miss Hug hug.
04:43What you might call half a hug, a Mr. Grumpy hug.
