00:06We welcome you to the Global Weather Center here at AccuWeather's headquarters.

00:09That is something that each of our meteorologists takes very personally,

00:14our commitment to helping save lives and helping people protect property.

00:19That's going to bring down trees, power lines, and cause major problems here.

00:22It's about giving more advanced notice. Sometimes it's more accurate information, frankly.

00:28Today, though, we're going to be worried about the potential for tornadoes.

00:31We have hundreds of those documented examples every year

00:35where we either provided more accuracy, more advanced notice, better descriptions,

00:40all of it leading to superior decision-making.

00:43A tornado emergency continues.

00:45When lives are at risk, when decisions which may impact a family,

00:50it's on those days where we really shine and where we make a difference.

00:56But you are looking at this confirmed tornado.

00:58When we're producing those forecasts, we often think of this tremendous legacy

01:02that has been built over many decades, building that trust.

01:06It's a tremendous impact that we have, but also a very important responsibility.
