00:29Badger's den was full of food, but he was not happy.
00:39Apples, worms, and roots, same old, same old, he sighed.
00:45I wish I could have a fancy meal for a change.
00:51So Badger crawled out of his den and eagerly set out to find his fancy meal.
01:01Soon Badger spotted a mole walking by.
01:05Mmm, he thought, how about a mole taco with hot spicy salsa?
01:11Now that's what I call a fancy meal.
01:17He jumped for the mole, but it was too slippery.
01:21It slipped and slid right out of Badger's hands.
01:24Then it scampered away as fast as it could and found a perfect place to hide.
01:34Badger was disappointed, but not for long, because soon he spotted a rat walking by.
01:40Mmm, he thought, how about a rat burger smothered in cheese sauce?
01:46Now that's what I call a fancy meal.
01:53He jumped for the rat, but it was too wiggly.
01:57It wiggled and jiggled right out of Badger's hands.
02:01Then it scurried away as fast as it could and found a perfect place to hide.
02:11Badger was disappointed again, but not for long, because soon he spotted a rabbit walking
02:17by.
02:18Mmm, he thought, how about a rabbit banana split covered with hot fudge?
02:25Now that's what I call a very fancy meal.
02:33He jumped for the rabbit, but it was too quick.
02:36It hippity-hopped right out of Badger's hands.
02:40Then it bounced away as fast as it could and found a perfect place to hide.
02:50Poor Badger.
02:51He had lost three meals in a row, and now he was really, really hungry.
02:57He screamed, I'm so hungry that I could eat a horse.
03:04Oh, really, said a loud voice.
03:10Badger couldn't believe his bad luck.
03:13There glaring down at him was a big, mean-looking horse.
03:17You eat me, sneered the horse.
03:21I don't think so.
03:27Now stop badgering me.
03:29And with that, the horse kicked Badger way up into the air.
03:39Badger flew and flew and flew some more, until, thump, he landed right back where he started,
03:52in his own den.
03:53Thank goodness I made it home, exclaimed Badger.
03:57Who needs a fancy meal anyway?
03:59I have plenty of good food right here.
04:06But Badger was wrong.
04:07His food was all gone.
04:09Instead, all he found was a short note, which said,
04:17Dear whoever lives here, sorry for dropping by uninvited.
04:22A nasty badger was chasing us, and we had nowhere else to hide.
04:26The apples, worms, and roots were delicious.
