Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian mengapresiasi kinerja Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah (TPID) dalam mengendalikan laju inflasi. Meski demikian Mendagri meminta daerah yang inflasinya masih tinggi agar melakukan langkah pengendalian.

00:08Nevertheless, the Ministry of Home Affairs asked the region where the inflation is still high

00:12to take control measures.

00:14The reason is that although the inflation rate nationally per May 2024 is controlled at a level of 2.84%,

00:20the rate of inflation in the region is still varying.

00:23Tito reminds the region where the inflation condition is still high

00:26in order to evaluate and find the cause of the high rate of inflation in the region.

00:33The national rate of 2.84% does not mean that the aggregate rate does not show

00:41that all regions are the same.

00:45The regions are different.

00:47These are the high-level regions.

00:50Therefore, I urge you to take steps to evaluate the cause of the high rate of inflation in the region,

01:01the increase in the price of goods and services in the region.
