Six climate change protesters stormed the 18th green during the final round of the Travelers Championship PGA Tour event, delaying the finish for about five minutes. The protesters sprayed white and red powder on the green, leaving stains before the final three golfers could finish their rounds. One of the protesters was wearing a shirt that said, "NO GOLF ON A DEAD PLANET." The protesters were tackled by police and removed from the course. World number one golfer Scottie Scheffler eventually won the tournament in a playoff. Scheffler's win was his 6th PGA Tour victory of the season, the most since Tiger Woods in 2009.
