Violent storms have caused flooding in #Switzerland, forcing authorities to evacuate people. The #ski resort of #Zermatt, by the Matterhorn mountain, was cut off and authorities declared a high alert and a risk of flooding. The river #Vispa flowed rapidly and burst its banks in parts, causing road closures and train cancellations.
