*CONTRIBUTOR REQUEST - NOT TO BE PUBLISHED BY THE SUN - APOLOGIES*  A man stayed in the worst rated hotel in Manchester - and said it was "dated" but not as bad as people said.  Zac Jones, 26, spent the night in Sachas, Manchester, on June 5, 2024.  The hotel has a two star rating on Tripadvisor with reviews saying the hotel is "disgusting" and people "shouldn't stay here".  After reading the reviews, Zac booked a £35 room and wanted to see if the hotel was as bad as the reviews.  Zac said the hotel was "dated" and "rough around the edges" but not as bad as people had told him.

00:09Behind me guys is Satchers, now every review I'm seeing of this place is telling me to

00:13avoid it at all costs, but tonight, this is exactly where we're staying.

00:19This area is a bit smelly, but I paid I think £35 for a double windowless room tonight

00:26in Satchers, let's go and have a look.

00:33The receptionist said to me, you have a room, you have a double room with no windows, would

00:42you like to upgrade?

00:43And I said, no, I'll keep that room.

00:45She says, okay.

00:46And then two minutes later, she passes me this card, it says you have a free upgrade,

00:51room room 5, so I mean floor 5.

00:55So that's where we are right now.

01:02Well, first impressions on this place is not bad, little coffee station here, seat there,

01:14I don't know what that is, a little bit rough around the edges.

01:20So the carpet is a little bit scruffy, but nothing out of the ordinary.

01:35smells fresh and it looks to an extent fresh-ish, it's definitely clean, definitely been cleaned.
