00:13Yesterday, the people of the City Veterinarian Office and Business Permit Licensing Office

00:20went to talk to the owner of the zoo.

00:22After a thorough assessment and collaboration with the authorities,

00:28it was decided to close the zoo and turn over all the animals to the authorities.

00:35Masbate City LGU promised to implement more regulations and to conduct a regular inspection

00:44to ensure that all the possibilities, not just the animals, are monitored.

00:51Meanwhile, the Philippine Animal Welfare Society decided to act quickly on the incident.

00:59According to the PAUS, the person responsible for this is facing a case of violation of the Animal Welfare Act.
