00:00Hi, I'm Sophie Malan-Malin and here are today's headlines.
00:03Today marks 40 years on since the Battle of Orgreave.
00:10We've got a special report on the Battle of Orgreave and drawing similarities between
00:15some of the cover-ups then and also today when it comes to the infected blood scandal
00:20and the post office scandal.
00:22Day is the last day to register to vote in this year's general election.
00:27If you've not registered or you need to change any details,
00:31do so by the end of today at 11.59pm, it's the cut-off point.
00:36It's Learning Disability Awareness Week this week.
00:39As it's also the last day to vote, people in Bradford have had some additional support,
00:44those with learning disabilities, to find out more about the general election and how to vote.
00:49But I'm here today in Wakefield Cathedral where they've got a special exhibition
00:54and a series of events all along the lines of Do You See Me,
00:58which is a theme for this year's Learning Disability Awareness Week.
