OpenAI and Microsoft Join Forces with Oracle to Expand Computing Power for Booming AI Applications

OpenAI and Microsoft are partnering with Oracle so that OpenAI can use Microsoft's Azure AI platform on Oracle's infrastructure to gain more computing capacity for applications like ChatGPT. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has said the company needs substantially more infrastructure to power its services, and that Oracle's chips will "enable OpenAI to continue to scale."
