00:00Hi, this is Vinnie Pastore and you're watching Life Minute TV.
00:09How are you feeling tonight?
00:10I've got anxiety, lots of anxiety and gratitude. Thank you.
00:14He's an angel. He's a rocker and he's got the heart of gold.
00:18I kind of chased Steven around years ago when I was running my clubs under Rochelle
00:23and, you know, he was running around with Bruce down at Asbury and everything.
00:26And then all of a sudden, boom, we're on The Sopranos together and we became close.
00:32It's just full circle. It's so beautiful. It's a spiritual thing.
00:35Well, the director, Bill Tech, he had been after Stevie since 2006 to, you know, tell Stevie's story.
00:42You know, his stuff is all about making change, positive change,
00:45and I think that he's arguably the most successful rock and roll star out there,
00:49having changed and moved the needle in so many different disciplines that he's involved with,
00:53including bringing down an evil empire in South Africa.
00:56Watch the movie, you'll hear all about it.
00:58But Steven Van Zandt has told us exactly how music can be a force for change and it's pretty exciting.
01:04It wakes them up, makes them think, it makes them appreciate, you know.
01:09That's what music does. It gets you going. It's supposed to.
01:12I think that rock and roll is the gospel. It will change the world
01:16and I think we all got to get a little bit more rock and roll in our lives, especially right now.
01:21So I hope everyone sees that when they're finished.
