00:00 Hello!
00:02 So Juliette...
00:24 Oh, hi, I didn't see you there!
00:26 Tell me who you're playing and what your challenging thing is at the moment of the rehearsal.
00:31 Well I'm one third of Sir Toby Belch.
00:34 And the most challenging thing for me at the moment is learning lines and having to fart quite a lot on stage.
00:54 It's really good, it's terrifying being on stage and I forget my lines the whole time but it's wonderful.
00:58 It's really great fun.
01:00 Tell us a bit about the play and what people could expect.
01:04 So the play is a bit bonkers.
01:06 It's about people who have to dress up as someone else and then the wrong people fall in love with each other.
01:13 And then people get mistaken whether or not they're in love with people or not and it's all very confusing.
01:20 But there's lots of stuff in the play to help people kind of work out what's going on so you won't really get lost.
01:26 And that's the fun of it because in the end it all gets tied up and all the knots get done.
01:31 Rehearsals are going brilliantly well.
01:38 The most challenging part for me at the moment is remembering when I'm going to be at rehearsals.
01:43 Because the schedule is ramped right up.
01:46 And lines, ops, but it's nice to have this lovely boy with me whilst we're rehearsing.
01:53 I was bored, not acting for a while and someone in my village was doing sex.
02:01 So I said can I get involved, got a lift to that first church meeting and then yeah, went from there.
02:07 Tell me about your character and what you're enjoying about playing that particular part.
02:12 He's called Andrew Eggycheek and he's a thot.
02:17 And he's being manipulated by the band Toby Bell for money basically.
02:24 He really wants to be loved and adored by everybody but he's so intense and irritating that he kind of drives people away.
02:31 I was involved in the music in the first ones and I've been in most of them ever since.
02:38 But I've missed out the last couple and I went to see them and really missed being part of it.
02:45 So it's just lovely. I've just retired so I've just got the time and the energy to do it again.
02:50 So I'm thrilled.
02:51 Loving the contemporary feel of this production.
02:54 It's bringing a kind of freshness to it.
02:57 And just music, a mixture of music and it's a fantastic group of people to be acting with as well.
03:05 And also brilliant direction by Rachel Bowers. It's a whole lot of fun.
03:09 Dave?
03:15 I'm busy, sorry.
03:17 (gentle music)
