00:10Man, it's awesome, just to come out and you play your songs, and there's people there
00:14who want to hear them, and yeah, it's just the coolest feeling ever as an artist to have
00:18that audience.
00:1923, tell me how it's changed things for you.
00:22Man, it's changed everything.
00:24It's my first number one record, my first platinum record, this song has done so much
00:29for me in my career, and still right now, it's changing so much for me, so just grateful
00:34that I wrote it down one day.
00:35I know the time keeps passing, but I wonder if there's a piece of advice that any Idol
00:39judge gave you that sticks with you every time you're maybe doing big events like this
00:43or writing new music.
00:44Yeah, Luke Bryan, I mean, he's got a lot of advice, you know, but he's always been just
00:50so supportive, and any questions I have, even if I get sick or whatever, dude, it's just
00:54like if I call him, he's always got the answer, so it's nice to have him and his advice in
01:00my corner.
01:01What do you make of some of the people you're up on stage there with from this current season
01:04that just ended, and the talent that keeps churning out of the show, it's pretty incredible.
01:09It's awesome, man.
01:10I mean, really just jaw-dropping singers, and some of the most amazing performers, it's
01:16really cool just to share the stage with them and hear their stories and listen to them
01:19talk about their experience on Idol, and yeah, man, Will Mosley and Colin, and I mean,
01:24just incredible voices, it's so cool to sing with them.
01:27Nashville for three years, what's the vibe?
01:29How are you liking it?
01:30I love it.
01:31I'm never here, man.
01:32You're always touring, always running around.
01:33It's cool when I'm here.
01:34I enjoy it, plan on being here for a while.
01:37If you had to kind of narrow down as you're touring around, going around the country,
01:41playing in different spots, what's the number one piece of reaction that fans give you consistently,
01:46and then I wonder if there's a town or a city that just sticks out as, man, I love
01:49it when I go there.
01:50The fans are off the hook.
01:52Yeah, I guess, man.
01:53It's hard to beat my hometown, you know, just like the crowd that we get at home, and it's
01:58so awesome any time we play in California, but honestly, there's a lot of places out
02:01east on the east coast where I have some of the best fans in the world, and yeah, I think
02:07any time we get to 23 in the set, once we get to 23 and you see the crowd react and
02:11have a good time with it, super special.

02:19Katie did such a good job, and I love Katie so much, so it's hard to see anybody else
02:24step into that role, but I'm sure whoever they pick for it is going to be more than
