00:00Here in Sanctuary Point on the Shoal Haven, the SES have advised the community to prepare
00:07to evacuate.
00:08As you can see behind me here on this street, dozens of families have their homes completely
00:13inundated.
00:14The Tomarong Creek is so full, it's come down to Cockrow Creek here and the banks have broken.
00:19Just as I've been standing here earlier, I've watched families leaving their homes with
00:23their bags on their heads, one woman carrying her dog as they've tried to get to higher
00:28grounds.
00:29It's been so stressful, we come home and the street was fully flooded, we've lost our car,
00:33I've lost my business.
00:35My dad and my partner and my son are still in there waiting to be rescued.
00:39Shoal Haven has been inundated with water today, there's been more than 250 mills in
00:43some catchments, just 100 mills here in Vincentia and Sanctuary Point today alone.
00:49So as you can see, the SES are busily getting ready to get people out of here, it's been
00:55a pretty crazy day.
