00:22 This is where my mom, dad, nieces, and my sister-in-law live.
00:26 As OFW, every time we go home, sometimes we realize we need space.
00:32 That's why we built a loft extension.
00:35 I'm a big fan of OG.
00:41 I always watch it.
00:43 I see farmhouses, rest houses, A-frame, different houses.
00:48 And this time, I just want to share with you our loft extension.

01:00 It used to be a garage.
01:02 And then, eventually, we thought of extending a loft upstairs to maximize the space.

01:12 Welcome to my loft.
01:20 The look of this space is black, sophisticated.
01:24 This is our main entrance.
01:26 When we enter, we'll show you our foyer.
01:31 We use this laminated fluted in the color of ash black.
01:36 And we put on also the tiles that are polished so that it has a reflection.
01:42 What I like is that from overseas, when I come here, I have a space to live in.
01:53 For me, with my friends.
01:55 Even if I invite them here, it's okay because we have our own kitchen and toilet.
02:02 This is our toilet and bath.
02:07 We use here a sliding door so that we can save space.
02:13 And we have here a sink, toilet bowl, and shower.
02:18 This is my favorite spot in the loft because I use a fluted panel here at the back of the toilet bowl.
02:29 Which is very rare.
02:31 We put it here to give an accent.
02:35 And then, this wall, we use only tiles so that it's cheap.
02:40 But then, if you can see, it's like marble.
02:44 It gives a luxurious feel.
02:46 When we go out of the toilet, you might think that this is a wall.
02:51 But it's a cabinet.
02:53 This is where I store my clothes and other stuff.
02:58 And this is our living area.
03:04 This is where we put our TV.
03:06 And if you can see, we used a fluted again.
03:15 This is a glass, not a mirror.
03:17 It's just a reflection.
03:19 We painted it black at the back.
03:22 And this is a corner.
03:25 That's why we made an L-type combination of glass.
03:30 It's to reflect this portion and the other side.
03:34 So that the looks of the living area will be bigger.
03:37 I got the idea of this from the luxury stores.
03:41 So every time I go in there, I look at the designs.
03:45 Because I well appreciated those designs coming from those.
03:49 Under the stairs, we put pebbles and rock formations.
04:01 So we have a combination of wood, cement, glass, stone, and metal.
04:09 And this display is more on airplanes.
04:14 Because we currently work there in the aviation company.
04:20 If you can see here, I have a cantus.
04:25 This one represents my brother in Australia.
04:28 And then I have here emirates.
04:32 Which is for my other brother, Aki.
04:35 Which is for my other brother, actually D'Artouid.
04:39 He works in Kuwait.
04:41 We have the Philippines here, of course.
04:43 And the highest is Singapore.
04:47 Because I work there.
04:49 This is our kitchen.
04:54 It's 12 square meters.
04:56 Our cabinets are color black.
05:00 It's a matte black.
05:01 And our ref is inside this cabinet.
05:05 So being a minimalist,
05:07 even though our cabinets don't have handles,
05:11 I store all my stuff in the panels.
05:17 And then this is our center island.
05:20 So this is our kitchen, next to the balcony.
05:23 So while we're eating, we can open our sliding door
05:28 to add the space.
05:31 So we'll just put additional chairs or small tables outside.
05:37 And you'll notice here, we have a lot of frame rails.
05:43 Because we put a screen so it won't get messy.
05:47 The size of this space is 34 square meters.
05:55 Then our loft is 12 square meters.
05:58 And we have 10 square meters of the loft.
06:03 Let's go upstairs to the loft.
06:09 This is my loft.
06:17 Then this is my bed.
06:19 This is where I sleep.
06:21 And I use my bedsheets that are color white
06:25 because I like the hotel vibes.
06:28 I prefer frameless tempered glass
06:31 so it looks more spacious.
06:35 And I feel like I can feel the high ceiling.
06:38 One of the things that my friends like
06:45 is this space.
06:47 They're surprised because there's a balcony here.
06:50 So let's go outside.
06:55 And this is where my friends and I hang out.
07:01 Sometimes we have coffee and just relax.
07:06 The construction cost of this loft extension is 1.7M.
07:15 It's a bit expensive because of the tempered glass for the staircase.
07:22 We also have glass panels, walls, and sliding doors.
07:29 We also used countertops, granite, that made it pricey.
07:35 That ends our tour.
07:41 This project is very special to me
07:44 because I put a lot of effort into this.
