00:00Hello OG! I'm Justin and I'm Paul. We're here in Pampanga and we want to show you this
00:05modern contemporary bungalow that was made especially for a retirement home.
00:10This is a special request from the owners since they're traveling abroad,
00:38they want to incorporate this feeling of authenticity in their new home in terms of cooking.
00:50This is the other end of the property. So we have here the driving range.
00:55This is our client's mini golf course. So aside here, we have the viewing deck.
01:00In this viewing deck, you can actually see the building envelope of the property, the house.
01:06And this property is surrounded by a fish pond.
01:14So we're here at the viewing deck. We can see the wide fish pond here on the perimeter.
01:20The owner made this because he wanted a view of the fish pond. At the same time,
01:25this is a resting place for him and his family. So we have sunbreakers here or brisolets.
01:32So these are specifically placed to block the morning sun on the other end.
01:44The lot size is around 1,000 square meters in area and the floor area is around 300 square meters.
01:52This property is surrounded by waters. So you have the view, especially morning and afternoon,
01:59which is the sunset. This established house is elevated from the natural grade around 1.2 meters
02:06high.
02:30So we're here inside the house. As you can see here, we have this rough natural adobe stones
02:35partnered with the wood TNG connection of our tang and grove that we call ceiling.
02:42To break the monotony of the area, we have this metal artwork and all of these will be
02:47useful for you when you enter the house. Moving on, let's go to the dining area.
03:00This dining table is actually made of magpuno. This is one of the hardest
03:05woods available here in the Philippines. And as we want to incorporate natural lighting
03:09and ventilation, we opted to have this glass doors and windows in this area.
03:18The design of the house is open planning, having this kitchen area,
03:22the dining, and here we have the living area. So we made this living area grand
03:33so having this spacious, the high ceiling, and as you can see here,
03:38the drop lights or the accent lights, same as what we have in the dining area.
03:45So we're here at Lanay. So this is one of the features of this property. So we've incorporated
03:52a pool, a lap pool with jacuzzi. And just to add, we have this grayish tile that we used.
03:58This is what matches our water plus the tropical vibe. So the color of this water has a greenish
04:05and bluish. So because of the grayish tile, we also used wood plastic composite decking.
04:11We call it WPC. This is durable and good for outdoor use.
04:15The name of this project is Domo's Vista. Domo's Vista came from the idea of having
04:26a gallery hall. Basically, this gallery hall would house awards and achievements.
04:36So we have reached the other area of the house. So this is the common powder room.
04:45So we're here at the gym. Let's go.
04:51So we have here the extension of our gallery hall or gallery area. So we can see here the other
04:58achievements of PBGEN. So we'll show you later what's all in the gallery hall.
05:04Since this is a retirement house, so the owners would promote wellness and longevity in life.
05:11We can see the view from the outside here. While mom is having a workout,
05:17sir can play golf in the back. So the nice view is here and they promote a healthy lifestyle.
05:23So to complete the experience of relaxation and wellness here at the gym,
05:27we added a small area here in the space so that it fits.
05:31So this is the gallery hall. So this is the highlight of this bungalow house.
05:47So this is housing all the artworks and the achievements of PBGEN.
05:52So you can see here, our design is just subtle. It's just a concrete finish.
05:58But we used ledges that are raw from tree trunk. So we want to highlight the memorabilia
06:06so that the guests can see how special this area is.
06:14So we have reached our last bedroom, which is the master bedroom.
06:19But I just want to show you our main door. So this is handcrafted from Betis.
06:24This handle is made from natural root. So we just designed it plus this pattern that we have here.
06:32So let's go inside.
06:35Okay, so this is the master bedroom. We also have here a special feature of the bedroom,
06:41which is the bay window. This allows you to view the perfect vista from the outside.
06:46Also, this acts as another space for compartments, for storages.
06:50This retirement house is not actually a house itself, alone.
06:54You really want to take a rest. You want to have enough spaces, enough leisure at the same time.
07:03And to give you a certain sense of fulfillment, because of course, this will be your retirement home.
07:12One of the owner's requests is to have a walk-in closet.
07:17So we thought of how we can incorporate this area into the vibe of the house.
07:23So we can see here the Solijia weave, or another term for rattan weaving.
07:30So this is a sunburst design. This is intended for the guests to enjoy the sun.
07:36This is a sunburst design. This is intended for storage of bags.
07:42Because we know that bags need proper ventilation.
07:48So we have here a vanity area and some accent lighting.
07:52We also have a master toilet and bath here.
08:06And that ends our tour. I hope you learned something and were inspired by the story of this house.
