00:43 Quick little video of last night's spot then.
00:46 Hope everyone's doing alright.
00:48 Overlooking a golf course one side.
00:50 In the sand dunes at Canberra.
00:53 Show you the beach.
00:56 It's not far away really.
00:58 It's absolutely fantastic here to be honest with you.
01:00 If you've never been to Canberra Sands,
01:02 get yourself down here,
01:04 because it's a sensational beach.
01:06 Look at the views over there as well.
01:09 It is unreal here.
01:10 ÂŁ30 a day to park though.
01:12 I don't know about that.
01:14 I think the council are robbing people blind there.
01:18 There's me packing up all my stuff.
01:20 Bruno's waiting patiently to go.
01:22 Going to be heading down to Dungeness today.
01:26 Be entering Kent, the 6th county of the trip.
01:29 We hit the 500 mile mark yesterday,
01:31 as you're probably all aware already,
01:33 because I have mentioned it once or twice.
01:35 But yeah, I'll catch you on the next one guys.
01:37 Right, we're back. It's night 81.
01:40 Made it to Essex, which is fantastic.
01:44 There's the tent.
01:46 The wind's coming from that way.
01:48 So I've parked it there,
01:49 right next to this World War One gunnery,
01:51 which is quite nice.
01:53 Very peaceful down here to be fair.
01:55 There's the dog.
01:56 Rolo's absolutely shattered,
01:58 but I've said to be fair.
01:59 There's a beach down there that's closed.
02:01 You're not allowed on.
02:02 Rolo's wounded.
02:03 It's Ministry of Defence,
02:05 so they've obviously been doing bits on there.
02:07 There's probably shells and all sorts on there.
02:09 But yeah,
02:10 nice to be in Essex finally,
02:12 and approaching the 700 mile mark.
02:14 Big shout out to the two ladies,
02:16 who just came down with some tux,
02:18 a bag full of stuff.
02:20 They walked past.
02:22 They thought I was walking the coast or something like that.
02:25 Or been booted out by my bird.
02:26 But yeah, big shout out to them.
02:28 People were so nice around here.
02:29 The people in the pub were so nice as well earlier.
02:32 I only went in one, charged all my stuff.
02:34 They loved what I was doing.
02:35 All the locals were there trying to buy me drinks,
02:38 and that could have got absolutely plastered.
02:39 And yeah, some lady offered me chicken and chips as well,
02:42 about 15 minutes ago.
02:43 So people said that the people in Essex were not very friendly,
02:47 but they're absolutely winning the race by a country mile at the moment.
02:50 I've only been here one night,
02:52 and that's the most amount of gestures ever.
02:53 So yeah, again, big shout out to those two women,
02:56 because it's so nice when people are kind and do stuff for you.
02:59 To be honest, I feel like I've been hit by a truck.
03:02 Can't wait to have a lamb sip,
03:03 and get myself in the bed for the night.
03:05 Yeah, I'll catch you soon.
03:07 We'll see you tomorrow for day 82.
03:11 Right, we're back with a daily scrant.
03:13 Steak mac and cheese with halloumi.
03:16 Surely the Americans eat that.
03:18 Steaks are looking absolutely tan-tan.
03:21 Now at this point, I was actually quite surprised
03:23 Rola was still lying over there.
03:25 So I thought I'd give her a little whistle,
03:26 so she doesn't miss out.
03:28 Look at her face when she comes over,
03:31 no big stretch required.
03:32 And at this point, she's like,
03:38 "Hmm, I know that smell."
03:41 There's the steak looking absolutely tan-tan.
03:42 No vinegar tonight though, unfortunately.
03:45 Rola absolutely seagull-knocking us down.
03:49 Look at her go.
03:50 Rola nailed all the juice.
03:54 Here's my mac and cheese.
03:55 Looking absolutely tan-tan.
03:57 Look at the steak and halloumi on top.
03:59 Oh my God, bon appetit.
