00:14 two games apiece here in the Eastern Conference Finals,

00:19 where the New York Rangers will have home ice advantage at Madison Square Garden.

00:23 Third straight overtime game, Tom,

00:25 how indicative is it of this series and what we can expect the rest of the way?

00:30 >>I think that's, you know, it's spot on.

00:32 These teams are super close.

00:34 You know, the Rangers, as you said, as I said,

00:36 they're getting outshot in most of, if not all of their playoff games,

00:39 but they're staying in it because of Igor Shostakovich.

00:41 So we can kind of build like a narrative of what we're expecting to see for a lot of these games.

00:45 You can actually look at team totals in terms of shot props per period.

00:49 So last night, the Panthers were -146 to record at 10-plus shots in the first period.

00:54 I'm expecting that line to be around the same for the next game.

00:57 Maybe it's a little bit better just because they'll be on the road.

00:59 So we can look to that.

01:00 We can potentially look to Igor Shostakovich and save props moving forward

01:03 if the Panthers are just going to be piling up the shots, piling up the shot attempts.

01:06 That's where we can start to build some correlation.

01:08 And it's viable to just take the underdog in each of the remaining games if it's this close.

01:13 If it's this back and forth, it's going to overtime,

01:14 just take the underdog and go where the value lies.

01:18 >>How about some value for the series itself as we turn into a best of three,

01:22 which will be Madison Square Garden two games, one down in Florida.

01:25 But yet we see that money line for the series shifting back to Florida at a -140 price

01:30 and the dog price on the New York Rangers at a +116.

01:33 The spread, Florida -1.5 games at a +205.

01:36 If you want to take the 1.5 games, that is the New York Rangers at a -260 price.

01:40 Tom, looking at these numbers, do you agree or disagree that Florida

01:43 should be the favorite here moving forward in this series?

01:46 >>Yeah, they should be the favorite moving forward.

01:48 They've looked great.

01:49 I've said before about them.

01:50 They're just an awesome offensive team.

01:52 They've plenty of experience.

01:53 They're super deep.

01:54 Bob Brovsky is solid in net.

01:55 I would still say the goaltending advantage lies with the Rangers.

01:58 They get a little bit more consistency on offense, take a few less penalties.

02:02 They can probably even up this series in terms of the betting odds.

02:05 If you want to roll with the Panthers at -140, whatever it is,

02:08 I think that's a super fine line.

02:09 Again, also looking to these direct outcomes is generally my preferred route to go

02:13 just because we can kind of build the narrative, what we expect from the series,

02:16 and we're trying to take a little shot with some better odds overall.
