00:05Reza, peace be upon him, the 8th Shiite imam in the Masjid Nudistan, Iran.
00:11From the early hours of till Thursday, Iranian citizens in Masjid took to the streets to
00:15bid farewell to their president, dead, along with his chancellor Hossein Amir Abdullahian
00:21and other colleagues, in a helicopter crash on Sunday 19th in the north-western province
00:26of Istanbul, Serbia.
00:28The farewell ceremony has been historic.
00:30According to the Masjid city hall, more than three million people have participated in
00:35the ceremony to say the last farewell to their leader.
00:45Early on Thursday, Iranian went out into the streets of the city of Masjid to give their
00:51last farewell to their late president Ebrahim Raisi, foreign minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian
00:57and the other companions who died in the helicopter accident.
01:00Mourners dressed in black walked into the streets of Masjid with tears of teary eyes
01:06in front of the coffins wrapped in the Iranian flag that they were transported by truck.
01:11During the ceremony, the mourners chanted slogans and reiterated their loyalty to the
01:16Islamic revolution and rejected at the same time the intimidations of the West, especially
01:21the United States.
01:22They also reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian cause until its liberation from
01:27the genocide regime of Israel.
