00:00 It's been nearly two years since the FBI raided Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home in Florida,
00:05 all to get back the dozens of classified and top-secret documents he illegally retained
00:09 after his presidency. Now in a fundraising email sent out to his constituents recently,
00:14 Trump has falsely claimed that President Biden authorized the FBI to shoot him,
00:19 with the email stating the president was locked and loaded and ready to take me out.
00:24 Trump's campaign email is seemingly taking an FBI court filing out of context,
00:28 in which they outline they could use deadly force, however that is only when they are
00:32 faced with someone who poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the officer
00:38 or to another person. And in fact the FBI raided the Florida estate deliberately when Trump was
00:43 not at home, in the hopes to avoid any run-in with the former president. However that hasn't
00:48 stopped Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene from globbing on and furthering the spread of
00:52 misinformation, writing on X that the Biden DOJ and FBI were planning to assassinate President
00:59 Trump and gave the green light. The FBI has now responded to the claims made in the email as well,
01:04 writing in a statement that they followed standard protocol and that no one ordered
01:08 additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter.
