Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani pleaded not guilty Tuesday to nine felony charges stemming from his role in an effort to overturn Donald Trump’s 2020 election loss in Arizona to Joe Biden.

00:16 As you can see, it's a picture from his 80th birthday party in Palm Beach, Florida.

00:21 If Arizona authorities can't find me by tomorrow morning,

00:24 one, they must dismiss the indictment.

00:26 Two, they must concede they can't count both.

00:28 The reason for the difficulty to get up to my apartment in New York is,

00:32 it's a 10-story apartment building.

00:35 I have a fair number of threats, including death threats.

00:40 And I don't have security any longer since I've been a bank robber.

00:44 So I have very, very strict rules about who gets up and who doesn't.

00:52 I've been indicted in Georgia.

00:55 I've appeared on every occasion.

00:58 I've been sued about 20 to 25 times by a very, very similar movement to this one,

01:24 and there must have been about 20 to 30 of them.

01:27 There is no history of my being a faultless, which is the basis for any fail.

01:33 - I think his comment speaks for itself to the judge,

01:38 was fairly defiant and called this an embarrassment to the justice system.

01:42 It's absolutely not politically motivated.

01:44 This case went before an independent grand jury who chose to issue indictments.
