00:00 The Department of Agriculture has already received a 4.71 billion pesos in aid to those affected by the El Niño phenomenon.
00:11 The aid included financial aid, water, free food and alternative livelihoods for farmers and fishermen.
00:20 This is in line with the distribution of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. of Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolk and Families.
00:29 The Department of Agriculture has already received a 9.5 billion pesos in aid to those affected by the El Niño phenomenon.
00:36 The most affected are farmers in Mimaropa, Cagayan and Western Visayas.
00:42 Despite this, the Department of Agriculture remains positive that this will not have a big impact on the overall production of rice.
