00:03 >> Let's talk about coaches that are on the hot seats with the most pressure to
00:08 win this year.
00:09 You have a list of seven.
00:12 >> Yeah, so the reason why we wanna do this is because we now have the schedules.
00:16 We know when everyone's gonna play.
00:17 We know who they're gonna play.
00:18 Now we know when everyone's gonna play.
00:19 Every year there's pressure.
00:22 There's no more pressure on a coach right now than on Mike McCarthy,
00:27 the Dallas Cowboys head coach.
00:28 This is year five.
00:29 This is the final year of his deal.
00:30 He's not getting an extension.
00:32 The bottom line is when you look at McCarthy, they choked in the playoffs.
00:36 They get absolutely embarrassed at home against the Packers.
00:39 That's right there, Mike McCarthy and his staff.
00:43 And by the way, Dan Quinlivan is his defense coordinator to be the head coach
00:45 of the Commanders.
00:47 Mike Zimmer, possibly to save the day, who had been with the Cowboys decades ago.
00:50 So he's back as a defensive coordinator.
00:53 Nick Sirianni, the historic six out of seven losses.
00:56 Scott, he's gotta win.
00:58 And you know what's interesting about this situation?
01:00 Kellen Moore, his offensive coordinator, interviewed for
01:03 the same head coaching job that Nick Sirianni got with the Eagles.
01:06 Think about that.
01:07 And they've got two new coordinators, so pressure's on.
01:09 The Eagles had a very good offseason.
01:12 They spent a lot of money in free agency.
01:13 Last year, very quiet, but they wanted to get back to the Super Bowl.
01:16 They're pretty aggressive.
01:18 Sirianni's my second coach with the most pressure.
01:20 Robert Sala, he's got Aaron Rodgers.
01:23 He's got him back.
01:24 He's healthy.
01:25 Six prime time games, Scott.
01:28 Six.
01:29 He's got a ton of pressure on him.
01:30 We know what happens here.
01:31 They gotta make the playoffs.
01:33 Doug Peterson, this might surprise people, but they also lost five out of six.
01:36 Somehow, they didn't make the playoffs.
01:38 They choked down the stretch.
01:40 Peterson's got a ton of pressure,
01:41 cuz they shocked the world two years ago.
01:43 Came out of nowhere to make the playoffs.
01:45 Oddsmakers, nobody saw that coming.
01:47 This last season, they fell right off.
01:49 Didn't make the playoffs.
01:50 Ton of pressure to get back.
01:51 Matt Eberflus.
01:53 When you look at Kevin Warren, their team president who came in almost two years
01:57 ago, he makes the call.
01:59 He oversees everything, really, when you look at their organization.
02:04 So the bottom line is, they're gonna have to win.
02:07 Matt Eberflus, they played a very aggressive offseason.
02:10 They've got their quarterback, Caleb Williams.
02:11 They gotta win.
02:12 And by the way, the oddsmakers have them at eight and a half wins.
02:14 Wouldn't shock me if it got up to nine.
02:16 A lot of pressure to win in Chicago.
02:18 Dennis Allen, very mediocre.
02:20 They're stuck in neutral each and every year.
02:23 And there's obviously a lot of pressure on Derek Carr if he wants to come back.
02:25 This is the last year of guaranteed money in his contract.
02:27 But they've gotta win.
02:29 A lot of people thought he might have been gone after last season.
02:31 They gotta win.
02:32 They gotta make the playoffs here.
02:33 And then finally, Brian Dabell.
02:34 This is an interesting one.
02:36 Two years ago, his first year, they shocked everyone.
02:39 Made the playoffs.
02:40 Won a playoff game at Minnesota.
02:42 Last season, completely fell off.
02:43 Roster wasn't very good.
02:45 Offensive line wasn't very good.
02:46 Very little talent.
02:48 They've been aggressive this offseason.
02:49 They're rebuilding their offensive line.
02:51 They got to win.
02:52 They got to improve.
02:53 And it's going to be hard because Daniel Jones, their quarterback,
02:55 is coming back from a 2 and 8 seal.
02:57 I'm surprised Sirianni didn't get fired the way the Eagles collapsed.
03:01 And I'm surprised Dennis Allen didn't get fired.
03:05 I can see Dabell getting one more shot.
03:08 I got no problem with that.
03:09 You're right about everything on that.
03:10 Great stuff today, Adam.
03:12 See you later in the week.
