00:00This is the 60th anniversary. This is always the biggest launch night of launch week.

00:04I always say it's the best week of the year since I've been a rookie.

00:07Seven years later and a legend's covered tonight.

00:11I am still like, it's all setting in. I'm at a loss for words.

00:18It means a lot. This magazine spoke to me at such a young age.

00:20I was about 15 years old when it just made me feel seen and heard

00:25and it made me start to embrace growing into being a young woman

00:28and I just, it's something I've always admired and talked about being a part of

00:34for a very long time and it's really fun being on this journey with SI and hearing like

00:38my high school friends and my longtime friends and family members be like,

00:41you've always talked about this day.

00:44Yes, yes. And it was actually, speaking of full circle, it was 10 years ago,

00:48the 50th anniversary issue. I bought at JFK here in New York,

00:53took the Metro North home to Connecticut where I grew up,

00:56sat with my mom and she had asked me if I wanted to stay up with her late and watch a TV special

01:00honoring the legends class 10 years ago. It was, no, that was the night that I was like,

01:04mom, this is what I want to do. This is top of the bucket list career goals.

01:09So to be here 10 years later in New York City celebrating the 60th anniversary as a legend is,

01:16yeah, still having a lot of reflecting moments as we speak.
