A Delta plane caught fire shortly after landing at Seattle-Tacoma Airport on May 6th, forcing all 189 passengers to evacuate via emergency slides. Surveillance video shows the Airbus A321neo plane's nose area erupting in flames on the tarmac. The fire started from an electrical malfunction. The fire burned for several minutes before firefighters arrived to spray water as a precaution, though the fire had burned out. Delta stated the crew witnessed smoke in the nose after plugging into ground power and deployed slides as a precaution for passengers still onboard.
