Watch: British Palestinian's emotional plea for the UK to stop arming Israel

On Nakba Day Palestinian activist Wafaa Shamallakh is calling on the UK government to halt arms transfers to Israel.  Ms Shamallakh, who has family in Rafah, has already lost 10 family members since Israel's campaign against Gaza started.

00:00 It's been horrific what they have been through, what they tell me about.

00:08 It's nothing, it's just a glimpse of what you see on the news and on social media.

00:15 When you hear it from your loved ones it's heartbreaking.

00:20 I also lost family members at the beginning of this war on the 8th of October.

00:29 My uncle and 10 members of his family, his wife, his 5 children,

00:34 and 2 grandchildren and his daughter-in-law, they were all sleeping at their house.

00:44 And the Israeli occupation army just targeted them out of nowhere.

00:51 They were just innocent people.

00:55 What we have been through is really devastating.

01:08 And we are trying to hold on to ourselves and to be brave and stand for our people,

01:17 trying to show the world that what's going on is insane.

01:25 We have never imagined we are in 2024 and genocide, war crimes have been going on.

01:34 On the news, on social media, everywhere, all the people talking about it

01:40 and yet the officials are doing nothing.

01:44 They are aiding and supporting the Israeli army.

01:48 They are encouraging Israel to continue their war crimes and their military operations in Rafah,

01:59 where all the world was condemning and waiting for a ceasefire deal.
