00:00This week's Peterborough Telegraph is on sale now.
00:03The front page this week focuses on the issues in the alleyway outside St Augustine's Primary
00:06School in Woodston, where children and staff have had issues with drug dealers and addicts,
00:10antisocial behaviour and littering.
00:12The school is now calling on the community to get involved, and a clip day is taking
00:15place on Monday, May 20th at 2pm.
00:18The paper also features the story of lifesaver Josh Smith, bartender at Katana Restaurant
00:22in Broadway.
00:23Josh dashed into action when the baby had breathing difficulties after swallowing a
00:26bucket cap.
00:28Dag-themed military veteran and former coach guy Josh had had first aid training and was
00:31able to ensure the baby was fine before the ambulance arrived.
00:35This week a campaign has been launched to safeguard the future of Peterborough's Neen
00:37Valley Railway.
00:38The heritage attraction has seen numbers fall in recent years and is looking for £300,000
00:43to try and keep running.
00:45Also included in this week's paper are tributes to Karl Bradshaw, who was killed by a disqualified
00:48driver in Peterborough.
00:50His family described him as a happy-go-lucky man with a great sense of wit and humour.
00:54Stuart Nicholls was jailed for more than four years after admitting causing death by driving
00:57whilst disqualified.
00:58The mother of a young Peterborough boy, Benedict Blythe, who died at school after suffering
01:02an allergic reaction, has called for more to be done to prevent similar incidents happening
01:06in the future, with North West Cambridgeshire MP Ashai Farah raising the issue in Prime
01:09Minister's Questions.
