Over 100 active wildfires are burning in Canada, with smoke drifting into the United States and prompting an air quality alert in Minnesota. Most active fires are located in the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. Wildfire smoke has reached states from Montana to Wisconsin but especially impacts northern Minnesota, where the Air Quality Index has reached unhealthy and very unhealthy levels.
