Come with us as we visit Liverpool’s theatrical bar, offering floating cocktails, fire and intrigue. Located on Brunswick Street in the city centre, the Alchemist offers a range of food but is best for known its magical cocktails. I’ve been to a number of their venues over the years and always have a great time so when I was invited to try some of their new offerings I was very excited. 00:13 They've added tons of new food and drinks to their menu and we tried the new Korean superfood salad and vegetable dim sum

00:19 as well as their popular plant-based burger and crispy shrooms.

00:22 For drinks, I had the new Flash AF which is a rum-based cocktail and my friends had a classic mojito.

00:30 The Flash AF was so cool and it came with a tarot card that was set on fire and vanished in a flash.

00:35 We also had the Oyster shots because you can't go to the Alchemist and not have them.

00:39 The drink I was most excited for was the Levitating one which is new and basically floats and spins using a magnet.

00:45 It was super boozy, made with ingredients like scotch and vermouth but it was just so cool to look at.

00:50 Another new one was the egg which comes in a most stunning ceramic egg and is perfect for spring with citrus and cucumber. Amazing.
