00:00You know what I loved what you said I think in an interview how you know when you became a mom you
00:05had to kind of like rediscover yourself. Did you ever feel like you kind of lost your identity
00:10when you first became a mom? Did you feel that? Definitely I went through postpartum depression
00:17and things like that and just really struggled to accept this new person that was emerging
00:23instead of realizing this new person is actually really dope and beautiful and cool and like
00:30sexy too. You know what I mean? Like there's so many things that are changing our bodies,
00:35our mindsets, but it's okay to shed that old skin and be rebirthed. And so that's what I
00:43went through and I really like the person I have become and I'm still becoming because of my
00:50daughter. Definitely. Was it hard for you to get that perspective and find that? It took therapy.
00:57I definitely went to therapy. I did a lot of talking to other mothers that might have been
01:03going through the same thing and then a lot of self-reflection. For me, I love working out and
01:11so I went back to that which was very great for my mental but also for my body. So it helped my
01:17mental health but also my physical health. So I just went back to that, got back on my Peloton
01:23bike and went to my classes and we did it. I feel great now.
