Indonesian Peacekeepers in DRC Complete Rotation Process

00:00 The 254 Indonesian peacekeepers have arrived at the Sukarno Hatta International Airport
00:16 after completing a year-long mission in Monusco, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
00:26 The group consists of two task force, the Indonesian RDB-39E and engineering company
00:33 Kizi 20T which flew from the Goma International Airport in DRC to the Sukarno Hatta International
00:39 Airport in Indonesia.

01:15 The total number of personnel from Indonesian Rapidly Deployable Battalion is 199 percent
01:23 and from Indonesian engineering company 55 percent.
01:27 And this is one of our pride and honor for flying with the Indonesian Garuda Air Base.

01:43 More than 1,000 personnel were deployed with the 2023 batch in Monusco and have left Democratic
01:49 Republic of the Congo.
01:51 The last shock was welcomed and received honors from the Peacekeeping Center commander and

01:58 As for the 2024 batch, they have landed in Goma and completed the rotation.
02:03 This bring the amount of personnel deployed in Monusco to exceed 1,000 across the Indonesian
02:09 RDB-39F and engineering company Kizi 20U task forces.
02:16 "So we have safely landed from 15 hours flight from Goma to Sukarno Hatta Airport.
02:26 And as you can see that the troops, the peacekeepers, Garuda contingent, we're still happy because
02:32 they are back to Indonesia after a year of service, fulfilling the United Nations mandate
02:41 to maintain the peace stability and the infrastructure support development in Democratic Republic
02:50 of Congo.
02:51 And we as a team are very grateful because we could see the whole process activities
02:57 from the patrols and then socializing with the locals and also interaction with other
03:05 nation peacekeepers in the northern sector in Democratic Republic of Congo, to be precise,
03:11 in Bunia City.
03:13 And right now, they will be, the troops, they will be standby at the, standby force at the
03:22 peacekeeping center in Sentul later on.
03:28 And also they are waiting for the health result, health checkup result until around 10 days
03:37 and after that they can go out to for the next journey for the peacekeepers.
