00:05Head of the Navy's Navy Staff, Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali,

00:09inaugurated the launch of two warships,

00:11named the KRI Putana 878 and KRI Selar 879,

00:17in Batam to Plon Riau on the 7th of May.

00:20At the same time, these warships officially strengthened the Armada 2 Command

00:25in the Main Base Patrol Unit of the Navy,

00:28or Lantama 5 Surabaya and Lantama 8 Manado.

00:32As a 40-meter-fast patrol type warship,

00:36which is designed agile and capable of operating in various difficult areas,

00:40this ship is also equipped with weapons,

00:43consisting of one 30-millimeter-caliber anti-aircraft gun

00:46and two 12.7-millimeter-caliber machine guns.

00:52It has a length of 45.5 meters and a width of 7.9 meters.

00:57The two KRIs have a maximum speed of 24 knots.
