00:00 [News Anchor] In the province, the first open water swim leg was held in the city of Isabela, in Basilan.

00:06 The participants were not only tired and exhausted, but also excited for the beauty of the province's ocean.

00:14 This is Clenque Penalosa of PIA-Sambuanga in the center of Bali.

00:19 More than 100 people from different parts of Mindanao participated in the first open water swim leg or goyak in Isabela City, Basilan.

00:29 The participants felt joy and success in their experience.

00:33 They said they are not tired and exhausted because they cannot give up.

00:38 They need to finish what they started.

00:41 They also added that they were awestruck by the beauty of the ocean and they saw beautiful corals and fish.

00:47 It was not easy, but I did it because I wanted to experience this moment,

00:55 the first time this happened in Isabela City.

00:58 There were so many beautiful corals.

01:00 I just saw those corals today and they were so beautiful.

01:04 In the tourism undersecretary's speech, Mayor Paz Abubakar,

01:07 he praised the support of the local government of Isabela City

01:11 in supporting tourism here in the place where Mayor City Mayor Jaleetura Bin Hataman is the head of.

01:17 He also mentioned the victory of Isabela City in the tourism champion challenge

01:22 and its nomination for the Asian Best Beach Destination.

01:26 With all of you here, with all of us coming together in our waters,

01:30 hopefully we connect to our waters, therefore we also connect with each other.

01:35 The goyak was hoped to be a good start in Isabela City

01:39 so that its potential in the ocean can be more recognized

01:43 and it can be expanded to anyone who will visit here.

01:47 It is also one of the main activities for the Sakayan Festival this year
