00:00For more than a week, the world has watched as pro-terrorist anti-Semites at American
00:10universities exude some of the clearest acts of bigotry against Jewish students on campus
00:16since the late 1930s in Nazi Germany.
00:20From forming human chains around Jewish students to block them from walking on campus, to chanting
00:26for the total annihilation of Israel, to promoting Hitler's final solution, it's safe to say
00:33these demonstrations are not a movement for peace, as some of our colleagues on the other
00:38side of the aisle have disgustingly referred to them.
00:41They are movements of pure anti-Semitic violence.
00:46And let's take note of those who've endorsed these pro-terrorist anti-Semites.
00:51A terrorist organization, Hamas.
00:53The world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, Iran.
00:57And members of the Squad, including my colleague from Minnesota, Ilhan Omar.
01:02Not exactly good company.
01:05Congresswoman Omar encouraged these movements for hate at the University of Minnesota Twin
01:10Cities campus, promoting me to inquire with the university about its plans to keep Jewish
01:16students safe.
01:17She then continued to pour gas on the fire when she visited Columbia to publicly suggest
01:23that some Jewish students are pro-genocide.
01:26Let me be clear.
01:28By embracing pro-terrorist extremists, Ilhan Omar is encouraging violence against Jewish
01:34students.
01:35There should be zero tolerance for anti-Semitism on our college campuses, in our communities,
01:41or anywhere across our country.
01:43Joe Biden has tried to play both sides of the fence by defending everyone involved.
01:48Since President Joe Biden, far-left congressional Democrats, and Ivy League administrators have
01:53chosen to side with Hamas over protecting Jewish students, House Republicans are going
01:58to do our job for them by voting on Congressman Mike Lawler's legislation that holds these
02:03anti-Semites accountable by requiring schools to treat acts of anti-Semitism as any other
02:10act of discrimination.
02:12Our House Republican majority will once again take a stand where others have failed.
02:16I can only hope that our colleagues on the other side of the aisle will choose to be
02:20on the right side of history and join us.
02:23And with that, I turn it over to our leader, Steve Scalise.
