00:00 Hi guys and welcome to Drivespark, I'm Prameet and what you see over here is the all new
00:07 Mahindra XUV 3XO.
00:10 Now this vehicle you can consider it as a baby XUV 700 because this has all the features
00:15 starting from the front, the inside to the technical features that have been carried
00:19 over from the bigger SUV.
00:21 So let's quickly start this video and I'll tell you everything you need to know about
00:24 this vehicle.
00:25 So now let's start off with the front end of the vehicle and the very first thing that
00:34 will attract you is this headlamp housing.
00:37 Now you get your DRLs over here, this is your fog light and this is your bi-functional projector
00:41 for your high and your low beam, everything is in one cluster and everything is present
00:45 in LED.
00:46 However, you can see you get a lot of piano black finishing, you get a brand new grille
00:49 over here, plus you get this six slats and the Mahindra logo in the chrome rest, everything
00:53 is finished in piano black.
00:55 You can see you get a front parking camera that is a part of the 360 degree camera feature.
00:59 Well, there is one more camera except the four cameras in here and that is this.
01:04 So this is for your level 2 ADAS.
01:06 Yes, you heard me right, this car now gets level 2 ADAS and yeah, this is how the front
01:11 end looks like, the rear section is finished in matte, the rear grille.
01:14 Well, if you move on to the side of the vehicle, you will notice that this gets this beautiful
01:19 17-inch alloy wheels and the tyre profile on this is 215/55 R17.
01:24 Well, you also have an alloy wheel that is present in the 16, which is in the lower variant
01:29 and then of course, you have steel wheels there.
01:32 So, as you can see, you get body cladding, but there's one thing that personally I didn't
01:36 feel good, as you can see over here that the body cladding is kind of chopped off from
01:40 the top, kind of looks incomplete, but I mean, it is going overall with the car, but yeah,
01:48 so other than that, you get a TGDI badging, as you can see over here, that is your, you
01:54 get it on the left side of the fender and if you see, you get these lines and creases
01:58 that run all the way from the headlight to the taillight and it splits in the middle,
02:03 you get blacked out ORVM, again, cameras present on either side for the 360-degree camera,
02:08 you also get a black roof, a massive panoramic sunroof, but you also have a small sunroof,
02:13 but that is for your lower variants, you do not get a shark fin antenna and you get roof
02:17 rails as well.
02:18 So, now let's quickly move on to the side and before moving on to the side, you will
02:21 notice that there is no chrome present on the side as well.
02:25 So this is how the rear end looks like and first things first, you get this connected
02:29 LED taillight, obviously, it joins and this looks really, really nice at night, you also
02:35 get this AX7L, so this is the top of the line variant, so this is the AX7L badging, you
02:40 have your XUV3XO badging, Mahindra logo over here and obviously, you have your parking
02:44 sensors and cameras right below.
02:46 Well, if we talk about the boot, so to open the boot, you can either open it from the
02:51 inside or you have a request sensor over here, so this is the boot, now there is no parcel
02:55 tray in the boot, but what you get is you get around 295 litres of boot space till this
03:02 parcel tray and if you want to keep more luggage, if you fill this up, so you'll get around
03:07 365 litres, but overall, you can take, you get around 300 litres of boot space with this
03:12 car.
03:13 Boot lid is not that heavy and it closes easily, well, you also have a wiper, defogger, you
03:18 get this spoiler and a high stop light, so this finishes out the exterior, let's now
03:23 move on to the inside and I'll tell you what you get in the inside of this all-new vehicle.
03:27 So, this is how the interiors look like and you can see, I have decent amount of knee
03:39 room and decent amount of headroom as well, this is well, the massive panoramic sunroof
03:43 that I was talking about right now, it is closed, but this is a shade, a cloth shade,
03:48 but luckily, they have not given a translucent kind of a shade, so yeah, it blocks all the
03:52 sunlight, you also get an armrest over here, if you have four people travelling, you can
03:56 deploy this, you have two cup holders and you have three adjustable headrests, well,
04:01 if you see the door pocket over there, you get some piano black finishing, you get your
04:04 speaker and you also have some storage over there, talking about storage, you get some
04:07 storage at the back pocket over here, some storage space over here to keep your phone,
04:11 a type C charging socket and a 12-volt charging socket over here, apart from that, you get
04:16 AC vents, which obviously cools the rear cabin really soon, so now, let's go to the
04:21 front end and I'll tell you more about that.
04:23 So, now we are at the driving seat, so this is how the cabin looks like and if you have
04:35 a glance over here, you can see that a lot has changed, well, first things first, you
04:40 get a 10.25 screen over here, well, you also get one more 10.2 screen over here, that is
04:45 there, so you get two screens, this is your cluster, a lot of information of the car is
04:51 available on the cluster, you also have the infotainment system again, a 10.25 screen,
04:55 you have your buttons over here, your AC vents and these are your passenger airbag off, your
05:00 traction control and this is your power mode, well, you have three power modes over here,
05:03 you have zip, zap and zoom, so yeah, this is your normal, eco and sport and other than
05:09 that, you have dual zone climate control, you have your AC controls over here, but yeah,
05:13 they have given a dual zone climate control, as you can see over here, dual litre, wireless
05:17 charging socket, you have your gear selector, some storage space, this is the key of the
05:22 vehicle, well, you've seen this key with minor cars before, this is for your electronic park
05:27 brake and this is for your hill hold, well, you also get steering wheel that is wrapped
05:31 in leather, you do not get flat bottom steering wheel, but you get steering wheel on the controls
05:35 on each side and everything is finished in piano black, other than that, you can see
05:38 you get some buttons over here, for your hill descent, start, stop and your parking sensor
05:43 off and this is for your headlight leveller, talking about this, this is your controls
05:48 for your window lock and unlock, child lock and this is for your ORVM controls and this
05:53 car also gets a seven speaker surround sound system, which obviously has a subwoofer, so
05:59 you have four speakers on the door, two twitters and one subwoofer in the boot, so yeah, this
06:04 was the interior, so now let's quickly drive the car and I'll tell you how is it to drive
06:07 on the road.
06:09 So now we're in the driving seat of the all new XUV 3XO and let me just give you a quick
06:21 engine brief, so the vehicle that we are driving today is a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine variant,
06:27 well, there is another petrol engine option, that's again a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine,
06:32 but it is available in a different state of tune, well, the other one that I'm talking
06:36 about is at 110bhp and 200nm of torque it produces, there's also a diesel engine, that's
06:43 again a 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine and that produces around 114bhp of power and 300nm
06:50 of peak torque, the one which we are driving today is the turbo petrol, it's a 1.2 and
06:56 that produces 128bhp and 230nm of peak torque, well, that power figures are really, really
07:04 nice, well, you have three gearbox options, you have a manual, a six-speed manual, then
07:09 you have a six-speed AT, that's a torque converter and then you have a AMT or an auto shift gearbox,
07:16 well, this, the one that we are driving, the 1.2 turbo petrol automatic variant, this is
07:21 available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter gearbox.
07:27 So now let's talk about the performance, so obviously 128bhp, 230nm means, I mean, the
07:33 car is pretty quick, so once you floor it, you can see, you have that slight pushback
07:39 and it just carries on, well, however, we felt that the acceleration is slightly on
07:44 the linear side at the start, but once it picks up pace, there is good mid-range and
07:48 there is very good top-end as well, so you have three driving modes, that is Zip, Zap
07:54 and Zoom, so obviously, it is your Zip is your Eco, Zap is your Normal and Zoom is your
07:59 Sport mode, well, along with that, when you change the mode, the throttle response and
08:05 the steering also changes, so the steering changes as in, the steering weighs up a little
08:09 bit when you put Sport mode and on Eco mode, it becomes really, really light, well, other
08:14 than that, the throttle response also changes and obviously in Eco, it becomes slightly
08:20 laggy and in Sport mode, it becomes really, really crisp.
08:23 Talking about the suspension, the suspension is what I really like about this car, it is
08:29 a balance and it gives you the best of both worlds, so, I mean, if you are going over
08:33 potholes and broken roads, it will absorb them, but at the same time, if you are cornering
08:37 at a high speed, the car will hold its line, which means that obviously, it, I mean, you
08:42 cannot just go flat out on a corner, but yeah, if you're carrying high speeds and if you're
08:46 moving into a corner, it will definitely hold the line and obviously, that is what is a
08:51 good balance for a suspension.
08:53 Other than that, NVS levels are really good, insulation is good, outside noise from the
08:57 cabin is really less and I mean, you can hear, I mean, there's a vehicle right behind us,
09:02 there's a truck going behind us, but I'm not being able to hear it at all and at higher
09:07 ranges, like post 4000 RPM, is where slight engine noise starts creeping in, other than
09:13 that, I mean, this is just, I mean, they have done a very good job as far as the NVH level,
09:20 the gearbox and the suspension goes and obviously, we can't forget the power and the torque,
09:25 it's around 128bhp and 230nm, which is, I think, the most powerful in its segment.
09:31 So talking about the safety features, this car gets a lot of safety features, it gets
09:35 traction control, ABS, ESP and it also gets level 2 ADAS, now what that does is, obviously,
09:42 you have adaptive cruise control, you have a camera over here and you have a radar, so
09:45 you have adaptive cruise control, you have active braking and you have lots more.
09:49 So now the safety has increased even further, so also one thing that this car now gets all
09:54 four disc brakes and that means that the stopping power has increased, so you don't have to
09:59 worry about that, you just hit the brakes and the car has enough grip to stop at the
10:05 moment.
10:06 Well, you also get six airbags across the variants, so yeah, all four disc brakes and
10:11 six airbags are standard.
10:16 So guys, this was the all-new XUV300XO and this car is available in nine variants and
10:22 eight colour options.
10:23 Well, if you talk about the pricing of this car, this car carries a starting price of
10:27 7.5 lakh rupees, XUV300XO and goes all the way up to the 15.5 lakh rupees for the top
10:32 end variant, which is this, you're seeing right over here, this is the AX7L variant,
10:36 which is the top of the line and this carries a price tag of 15.5 lakh rupees, XUV300XO.
10:42 Well, if you need to know anything about this car, please mention it down in the comment
10:45 section and we will get back to you on that.
